Black and white illustrated frontispiece with photographic and illustrated plates to centre of book. Binding remains firm. Pages and plates have light tanning and foxing throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Marking to rear free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Heavy tears to cloth to spine. Mottling to front board. Wear marks overall.
