All three volumes: full leather with gilt-stamped decorated spines, 5 raised bands, marbled text block, marbled end papers; Volume I: frontispiece portrait of William of Orange with tissue, (ix), 579 pages; Volume II: 582 pages; Volume III: 664 pages, Index. All volumes: top edge of text block stained, some wear on spine and at edges and corners, small marks on covers; Volume I: scratch on front cover, title page offset by frontispiece, light foxing on first few pages, Volume III: covers lightly stained, name written in pencil on front fly leaf, overall the volumes are in very good condition and are highly readable.
