About This Item
1944 copy. "Dec. 2 - 1944" written on front end-paper. Dust jacket has some soiling and some wear at the upper and lower spine and along the edges. Book pages are in good condition--clean, not torn, and the corners are not folded. The spine is tight. Comes from a nonsmoking collection. Ships in a clean box or bubble envelope. The proceeds from this sale are donated to our local library.
Cowboys and horses, riding the range and rounding up cattle, winning prizes at the rodeo - these were all in the day's work on the Double Springs Ranch. But when Jimmie Burgess ran into rustlers herding cattle into a high-powered truck and driving them off the range, that was different.
