Large 8vo. xvi, 416 pp, illus. with 14 Pristine diagrams in Pocket at back, and an Introduction by Archibald Hurd: First Edition, 1934. Minor wear with age-toning to bottom and fore- text block and front endpapers, else, no wear. No markings, binding tight, clean, white and bright. 6.5" x 9.5". Dark-blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine, and black top text block. "The Battle of Jutland was a naval battle fought between Britain's Royal Navy Grand Fleet, and the Imperial German Navy's High Seas Fleet, during the First World War. The battle unfolded in three main engagements from 31 May to 1 June 1916, off the North Sea coast of Denmark's Jutland Peninsula. It was the largest naval battle and the only full-scale clash of battleships in that war.".
