About This Item

Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Graduate School of Design, 2001. First edition. Very good plus.. Signed first printing of this reflection on the first Richard Neutra-designed home on the East Coast, a relatively short-lived but important stucture - signed by four of the contributors. Tragically destroyed by a hurricane just weeks after it completion in 1938, Neuman's collection carefully examines this important but lost Neutra design. 8.5'' x 10.75''. Original color pictorial wrappers. Illustrated in black and white and color, with silver metallic accents. 150 pages including index. Signed by Goldhagen, Silvetti, Hines, and Neumann to contents page. Print-out request for signatures loosely laid in, initialed by Goldhagen. Wrapper with mild edgewear, corners mildly thumbed. Bright and clean overall.
