Toronto: William Briggs, 1912. Undetermined. near fine. 2nd Canadian Edition (first illustrated edition). [6], 195 pp + 15 platespp. Octavo. Green cloth with gold stamped lettering on spine and front cover. With an oval green and white image of Service in his canoe on front cover. Slight bumping to ends of spine and corners. Top edge gilt, long outer edge untrimmed and bottom edge trimmed roughly. With 15 B/W plates (including frontis). Annotated tissue guards. Previous owners name on front free endpaper and short note by previous owner on back endpapers. Some light stains within the text block, else it is clean and bright. A very nice copy. near fine A4 b. (pp. 94) in Mitham. The written contents of the book are same as the first Canadian edition with the addition of illustrated plates. There is also a variant binding in green suede with gold stamping. This is Service's third book of poems. 1912
