New York: Dodd, Mead & Company. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1912. First American Edition. Hardcover. This was Service's third collection of poems and was written in Dawson City (the first two were "Songs of a Sourdough" and "Ballads of a Cheechako"). This copy is the First American Edition: Published, November 1912 (and after the first Canadian edition by Barse & Hopkins in the same year). Original cloth publisher's binding with gilt spine and cover lettering. There are no ownership names or internal or external markings to the covers or the contents. The pages are clean and bright and the gilt cover and spine lettering is also bright. There is a small, very light and faint surface abrasion to the cover, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book. ; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 172 pages .
