Wise-Paslow Company, 1937. Hardcover. Fair. Hardcover. Dark blue cloth cover with orange stamping of graphics, title and author on the front cover and spine. No dust jacket. The cover has white stains on the back, the spine is torn on the lower portion. The tips of the boards are bumped. The cover is in good condition minus the tear to the spine. There is children's drawings and writings on the inside few fly sheets. The pages are slightly browned due to age and have very slight amount of foxing throughout. The previous owner has done some drawing and writing throughout the book. The illustrations by Johnny Gruelle (best known as the creator of Raggedy Ann) are colorful and vibrant. The spine is slightly loose on the front cover and slightly pulling away on the back, but still firmly attached. Overall, this book is in fair condition.
