Original pictorial gray-brown cloth stamped in gilt and black, all edges gilt. Good condition, board edges lightly worn, faint dampstain to lower edge of front cover and continuing faint to lower edges of text block. Numerous charming engravings, illustrators unknown except for one signed in the plate, "Beard", presumably Daniel Carter Beard. Uncommon.; Illustrated; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall .
