About This Item
First edition, first printing, inscribed by the Author on the front free endpaper: "Charles love Roald Dahl". Octavo, Publisher's blue boards, spine lettered in gilt, Publisher's dust jacket, profusely illustrated throughout by Quentin Blake, two printed postcards promoting the signing of the work at Harrods loosely inserted. Published by Jonathan Cape (London), 1989.
A fine example with just a very tiny bump to the bottom of the spine and slight ghosting of the Author's signature to front paste-down.
