London: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1907. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Hardcover, red cloth with triple gold rules on covers, gold lettering on spine and small circular image of a young boy surrounded by three circular rules, both in gold on front cover. All edges gilt. 214 pages. Illustrated with sixty-five drawings in black and white by Arthur B. Frost and nine by Henry Holiday. Reprint edition, ninth thousand. Previous owner's name and address on front free end-paper, dated 5 March 1926. Cloth spine cloth age darkened, albeit gold lettering still bright. Mild age soiling to cloth and small, old booksellers label affixed to bottom of rear inside cover. A sound, tight, internally unmarked copy with strong hinges, bright gilt edges and no writing or marking to text or illustrations. Very good. .
