Gilt dull, one corner bruised, offsetting at endpapers & pastedowns, otherwise very good in good or better moderately rubbed & soiled dust jacket, with light edge wear (including nicks & tiny losses), & an old tape repair on the verso.

Diplomat, intelligence officer and politician, author David Kirkpatrick Este Bruce served as ambassador to France, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the United Kingdom.
