About This Item
Octavo. The 1935 volume issued by the "dirty old men" of the club whose book not only was replete with nudes but did not hesitate to include pubic hair. P. 44 and four others can be viewed through the original cellophane For this reason, the copies could not be sent through the mails and were available only through club meetings or from personal delivery by friends (90% of the members resided in New York). Signed by , James Montgomery Flagg on front endpaper, Clarence Buddington Kelland, the club President, on FFEP, Sigmund Spaeth (p. 40), Athur William Brown on his drawing (p. 65) and 21 other signatures of club members. All copies have a hole punched through the bottom though the reason is not explained in the many "in" jokes on the printed pages. Wear on edges of paper covered boards.
