About This Item

(Bournemouth): Board of Trustees, 1900. Norton's account occupies 60 pages of the report. It also includes Jared Smith's short "Revision of the species of Lophotocarpus of the United States"; Hermann von Schrenk's "A disease of Taxodium known as peckiness...."; and a short note by J.N. Rose on Agave expatria. The volume contains 151 pages in total, clean internally, green bevelled cloth a little marked and creased, the spine frayed at head and tail, the free fromt endpaper damaged, a duplicate from Smith College Library with their discarded bookplate on the front endpaper, a perforated stamp on the title page and a shelf number on the spine. Interestingly, this was originally in the collection of the garden designer Beatrix Farrand as the College bookplate is partially obscuring her own.. First Edition. Cloth. Good.
