New York: Holborn House, 1931. Special Limited Edition. Hardcover. Fine. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. C.B. Falls. Stated First Imprint of the Holborn House, 1,000 copies of this item, a First Edition Thus copy, printed by the Marchbanks Press of New York, this copy being numbered (#87). Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear; not ex-library, with neither underlining nor highlighting anywhere. Bound quite handsomely in black cloth, blind-stamped with hearts and clubs, silver lettering to front cover and spine. Housed in a Good condition cardboard slip-case, simply produced, abraded at tips, along edges, but still structurally sound. Donald G. Mitchell wrote under the pseudonym "Ik Marvel," was known for writing sentimental essays popular to 19th-century novelists and poets, including Emily Dickinson.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
