About This Item

New York: Charles Scribner and Company, 1866. Hardcover. Good. 5 1/4 x 7 1/2. 280 age toned pages, unmarked except for a book dealers stamp on the title page. It appears that the title page was glued to a cut off ffep. The green cloth boards have a rodent nibble to the bottom corner of the front and a vertical tear (2 inches long) to the back of the hinge where it joined the back board.
