About This Item
Harper and Brothers, 1940? One of a series of commentaries by different authors under the name of Moffet Commentaries. This book is bound in red boards. The Binding is without issue, minor corner wear, spine is fading with age as is the gold lettering. There is a dime sized mark on the front cover near the top corner. Writing on the inside of the cover in pencil "2.75 3/1/53 THE VIEW BEYOND - PXII"
Please see photo.
There is quite a bit of underlining in green ink in the Introduction and on the last page. A few notes are pencilled in the margins on several pages and at least one very light pencilled underlining on a later page. These were most certainly the study aids of the original owner.
There is no date or edition statement on the title page orthe verso but there is a date of 1940 at the end of the preface and that would match up with other items in this collection.
