Numerous black and white illustrations and some colour plates. The book deals with Bligh’s second breadfruit mission and his three-month sojourn in Tahiti. Size: Quarto. 281 pages. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact, but spine is slightly cocked. No foxing in this copy. Dust jacket has plastic library cover, some wear on edges and some tape marks. Previous owner’s book-plate laid in. Edges very slightly spotted or marked.
