Catalogue for a 1975 retrospective dedicated to the Russian-born French artist Serge Poliakoff (1900-1969). The exhibition took place at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi, Belgium, from September 30 to November 2, 1975, as part of the Europalia 1975 arts festival. Numerous color and black-and-white plates, an introduction by Robert Rousseau, listing of works in the exhibition, and biographical highlights. Text entirely in French. Scarce in commerce.
PHYSICAL DETAILS: Quarto (11 1/2 x 8 3/8 inches; 290 x 212 mm), unpaginated (about 44 pages), in illustrated wrappers over card stock enclosing the text block (soft cover).
CONDITION: Some soiling to wrappers, light edge wear, previous owner's name to half title but otherwise unmarked. Very Good or better.
