New York: Robert M. McBride & Company, 1932. First trade edition. With tipped-in slip stating this to be the first trade edition (after a small limited edition in February 1932). In original silver lettered and decorated black cloth. Top edge slightly age-darkened, tiny shallow dent at top edge of front board, one corner slightly shelf-worn. No previous ownership markings, bookplates, or ink stamps. Overall, a very clean, tight, bright copy, Near Fine. In a Very Good dustwrapper which has 0.5 cm. chipping at head and heel of spine and other light edge wear..
