New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1945. Eleventh Printing . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Don Blanding. 12mo. 143 pages. Hardcover bound in blue cloth. The binding is rubbed anda bit soiled from use. Spine browned. Secure inner hinges. Some foxing and browning to the endpapers. Text is unmarked. Illustrated with black and white drawings by the author. Don Blanding (1894-1957) was a poet and journalist who served both in WWI and WWII. He moved to Hawaii in 1915 and was sometimes informally known as the "Poet Laureate of Hawaii.
