About This Item
Small, Melvin and J. David Singer, with the collaboration of Robert Bennett, Kari Gluski, and Susan Jones. Revised Edition of : The Wages of War, 1816-1980, 1972. Resort to Arms: International and Civil Wars, 1816-1980. Second Edition, First Printing. Beverly Hills, CA: SAGE Publications, 1982. Printed in the United States of America. 323p. 5.50x1.00x8.75. Black cloth over boards with gilt titles and front page design. Hardcover book in VERY GOOD condition. Clean interior pages. Faint stamp on ffep, illegible. Very lightly toned top page edges. Miniscule chip at the bottom edge of page 115-116, which does not affect the readability of the text. I noticed a few other pages with similar issues, both at the top and bottom page edges, without loss. Exterior shows bumps to spine ends, rubs, and gentle bumps to upper board corners. Illustrated with charts, graphs, and tables. Includes Appendix A: Wars that are included, Appendix B: International and civil wars excluded, references, and bibliography.
