About This Item

Jerusalem-Jordan: Jamal A. Nasser, 1964. 2nd Revised and Enlarged Edition . Pictorial Paper Wrappers. Very Good+. 160 pp. B&w illustrations. In the preface to this revised edition, Nasser says, " the title has been changed...because it is felt that the word "EMBITTERED" could suggest defeat and one of the main points of the book is to show that the Arab does not accept defeat." The author was a British-educated Barrister from Palestine, whose parents were forced into exile when Israel became a state. A useful book for anyone wanting to understand the harsh complexities of this region.
