Con una dedicatoria autógrafa del autor escrita con caligrafia microscópica: "Para D. Jorge Guillén con justo agradecimiento por muchas lecturas", fechado 27-I1946. "El texto original del Requiem publicóse como edición privada en esta isla en el invierno de 1944. La traducción fué hecha en colaboración con el autor".
