New York: Rinehart & Company, 1948. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 273pp. Beautiful First Edition, First Printing with the Rinehart logo on the copyright page. Bound in blue cloth with titles in red and blue on the spine Square, tight and clean throughout with just a hint of edge-wear. Two pages toward the rear that had been unopened, have a couple of closed tears and chips where they were roughly split apart. Otherwise a remarkably well-preserved copy. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.00), has some rubbing and tiny closed tears. Spine mildly fade. Still fresh and bright. A very pretty collectable copy and uncommon in such outstanding condition.
