New York: Harcourt Brace, 1948. First edition. Cloth. Fine/very good. Two volume set. Dark blue buckram bindings in fragile glassine wrappers and housed in the original hard slipcase with publisher's paper label. 532 and 537 pages, respectively. SIGNED by the author on the limitation page in Volume I. Printed on quality rag paper. Both volumes in immaculate fine condition. The fragile cello wrappers are present, but there are large chips to both volumes near the spine crown. Slipcase is just lightly worn. Nice set of the correct first edition of this title. Heavy item.
