Red cloth covers with gilt title to black spine. !/4" x 5" barely visible label (?) residue to head of upper cover. Light foxing to to head and fore edges, rest of text block tight and unmarked. Considered "the reference" on Rembrandt, this volume describes and discusses one of the world's finest collections of his etchings. In 1969, the Nowell-Usticke collection of Rembrandt etchings was sold at Parke-Bernet in New York, bringing a total of $984,160.
