UK: John Murray, 1839. 19th edition of a collection of addresses for the new Drury Lane Theatre, purported to be by famous poets/writers, contains the new preface by the true writers from 1833, heavily soiled grey boards with a brown cloth spine strip, some fraying, splits and wear to spine ends, paper title panel chipped and largely illegible, previous owner has written his name on front and back boards, title page, and both pastedowns (!); dust to edges, strain to stitching, foxing to endpapers, frontispiece of the Smith brothers, contents generally good with some foxing.. Reprint. Hardcover. Good. Illus. by George Cruikshank.
