Imparted some years ago to Mr. Samuel Hartlib; and now by him re-imparted to all ingenuous English-men, that are willing to advance the prosperity, wealth and plenty of their native countrey. FIRST EDITION 1651, pamphlet. Small slim 4to, approximately 175 x 130 mm, 7 x 5 inches, pages: [4], 14, [2], collation: A², B-C4, lacking C4 a blank, title page with decorative woodcut border, Errata to verso, bound in later marbled boards, endpapers renewed, gilt lettered red leather label to spine. Boards slightly rubbed, title page slightly trimmed at top and bottom, not affecting printed area, 2 neat corrections and 1 word crossed out, lower margin of C3 trimmed, with loss of catchword. A very good copy. The author recommends industry, urges the fallowing of lands for any crop, and the use of much less seed.
