London: Neville Spearman, 1955. Book. Good +. Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. 1st UK Edition. Juvenile drug addiction drama. Jacket by Guy Nicholls. BOOK:- Binding is sound, no loose pages; dark green boards are clean; black titles are clear & without loss; spine is cocked; crush & fade to spine ends; one small corner bump; dealer stamp and small water stain at foot of front pastedown; quite heavy offset to endpapers; isolated spots of foxing on the endpapers & across the edges of the text block; uniform page edge browning. JACKET:- Intact, but price-clipped; edgewear; irregular but substantial "V" chipping on the hinge corners; several tears, ranging from 2mm to 3.4cm; abrasion to the hinges; quite heavy offset and foxing to the interior, with show-through; some stains on the rear panel and bottom of front flap hinge.
