About This Item
London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1911. Reprinted March 1937 . Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. The interior of the book is clean and fresh. The paper has darkened slightly, but there are no marks or damage. The red cloth covers are still bright, with a slight bow and minor wear at edges and corners. The dust jacket, however, is in Poor condition, with long rips, chips of missing paper, and colour missing from the spine. The attached scan should give some idea of the problems. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. This copy was published as number 1 in Hodder & Stoughton's series: "The Thorndyke Library," and has a listing of the first 7 titles on the back panel of the jacket. The dust jacket title area also identifies it as part of the "Hodder & Stoughton Yellow Jacket" series.
