About This Item

American Historical Press, 1899. Hardcover. Fair - Cash/No Jacket. Denim blue cover with a white strip going across the middle of the book with a red cross in the middle of the front cover and in the middle of the spine. Gold gilt lettering to the cover and spine. Heavy surface and edge wear to the cover. The corners have been bumped. The boards are exposed in the corners. There are a few pieces of the cover missing along the bottom of the covers that expose more of the boarding. The cover is beginning to fray where the boards are exposed. Small tears at the top and bottom of the spine. Water staining and damage to the cover. The heaviest of the water damage is along the bottom of the back cover. There's damage to the bottom of the front cover as well. Soiling to the spine, muddying up the colors and dulling the lettering. Pages show reader and age wear. Several pages have water staining and light waving as well as other soilings. There are several cracks in the spine throughout the book. A few of the cracks reveal some of the netting. Pages still appear to be secure. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

About The Book Garden

Just as the Tardis is bigger on the inside – you will just have to see it to believe! We have over 4000 square feet of as many books as we could sort, stack and tower housed inside this innocent looking storefront. We also have inventory off-site, so if you don’t see what you are looking for – just ask! Love the smell of books? Daydream about getting locked in the library? This is the place for you – located at the very center of downtown Bountiful. Selling gently loved books since 1985.
