About This Item

Oxford Univ. Press, 1947. Cloth. Very Good. Volume II depicts locations through art in Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Huntingtonshire, Northamptonshire and Rutlandshire, Norfolk, and Yorkshire. Red-brown cloth, large, heavy book, 218 pages plus a final illustration. An extraordinary collection of art showing places in various shires: even-numbered pages gives detailed description of the place, odd-numbered pages gives full-page illustration of that place, some in color. Faded on most of front, and a portion of back nearer spine, light foxing to top edge of inside covers. Very Good. (All four volumes listed separately but can be purchased as set for 250.00.
