VG-. 17 Cms x 25 Cms. 192 pp. with original promotional flyer slipped in; internally clean, tight and unmarked, Black printed brown issue wrapper clean but spine and back tanned, all edges a little rubbed and chipped as they extended beyond text-block, bottom back has two small chips, bottom spine rubbed, slight chip across top also. The range of topics covered is very wide - Arnold Bennett on The progress of the Novel, Aldous Huxley on Pascal (Part 1), Collingwood on A Philosophy of Progress, Julian Huxley on What is Individuality? plus less well remembered authors on e.g. Domestic Squabbles in Courts, Has Labour to Fear Science? Implications of Aerial Development, The Wagners and The Movies as Medium etc. The front cover borders of the covers have 'science industry art economics' in big capitals
