VG-. 17 Cms x 25 Cms. 192 pp. with original promotional flyer slipped in; internally clean, tight and unmarked, Black printed brown issue wrapper clean but spine and back tanned, all edges a little rubbed and chipped as they extended beyond text-block, bottom back has two small chips, bottom spine rubbed, slight chip across top also. The range of topics covered is very wide - Arnold Bennett on The progress of the Novel, Aldous Huxley on Pascal (Part 1), Collingwood on A Philosophy of Progress, Julian Huxley on What is Individuality? plus less well remembered authors on e.g. Domestic Squabbles in Courts, Has Labour to Fear Science?
