Founded in 1893, the 101 was an actual working ranch that also had touring Wild West Shows that came to embody the spirit of the frontier for the entire nation. The author paints and indelible portrait of the frontier as it expanded westward in the middle of the 19th Century. Laid in is a newspaper clipping on the book and a book signing. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
