[vi], 343 pp. Bound in publisher's slick black cloth, front stamped in blind, spine stamped in gilt. Fine in a very nice, unclipped example of the fragile dust jacket; small closed tear to top of back panel, a little foxing to back panel, wear at tips. A clean, unsophisticated copy of British author Somerset W. Maugham's novel of spiritual searching.
