1729 Vogl Ratisbona Ratisbon Regensburg Politica Benedictine Monastics Emmeram

Coelestine Vogl was a 17th-century Benedictine monk from the St Emmeram monastery in Regensburg, Germany. His only known literary contribution was his 1661 treatise 'Mausoleum Sancti Emmerami', an important work on the local monastic history of Regensburg (i.e. Ratisbonne). This 1729 German edition features impressive folding engravings including views of Regensburg and the mausoleum of the cathedral.

Junius was the pseudonym of a writer who contributed a series of letters to the Public Advertiser, a London newspaper, from 1769 to 1772. The 'Letters of Junius' composed of 68 letters between the 'Public Advertiser,' Philo Junius, Sir William Draper, and Mr. Horne. It was written to notify the public of their historical and constitutional rights and describe how the government had disregarded those rights.
