A RARE early album of primarily oval salt print photographs and a few albumen prints and engravings. 34 portraits of members officials of American Masonic organization. All identified by name and chapter affiliation. Most bear the credit imprint of New York photographer R. A. Lewis with a Chatham street address. Also includes two images with a Victor Piard credit. Bound with marble boards and leather spine. Several of the prints have spotting, but mostly good, rich prints. Edges of covers have wearing, spine is fragile as seen in images.
