Santa Fe, New Mexico: D. B. Chase, Photographer. Very Good. Boudoir card on original tan mount with title and photographer's information in the negative; historical information and D&RGRR advertisement on verso. Negative number 126. Likely photographed in the 1880s. Mount has light soiling; photograph has light soiling. Photographer Dana B. Chase owned a studio in Santa Fe from 1884-1892, taking over for William Henry Brown (Mautz p. 406). This image depicts three saddled and heavily laden burros. A small collection of D. B. Chase photos are found at Yale, although this one does not appear to be in their collection. ; 8" x 5" .
