About This Item
1955 hardcover as pictured. This is an Illustrated book for children featuring short chapters on various events in US history to 1945 from a White and Eurocentric perspective. It is perhaps most interesting for its many WPA style illustrations by James Daugherty. Binding is intact. Red cloth boards with blue and white stamping are soiled and show some wear. Owner's inscription on FFEP. Edge of text block is soiled. Text itself is clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. AR
