A historical album of the Alaska Railroad. Completed in 1923, the ARR opened up new frontiers for settlement and spawned cities along its route. Financed and constructed by the US Government it was one of the world's largest construction projects. Carrying freight and passengers, it has been responsible for a great deal of the growth of the state. A clean and very presentable copy.
