Chicago [circa 1933?]: M.A.Donohue & Company, 1925. First Donohue Edition . Blk Cloth, Illustrated Boards. Near Fine Book/Very Good Dustjacket. Color illustrations By Johnny Gruelle Throughout. Early reprint. Covers immaculate and bright. Wear only at tips and two 1/8" long strips on lower edge of rear board, with 3/16" loss of paper at lower front tip only. Shadow of book seller's label on top right corner of front endpaper with faint shadow on front pastedown Ilustrated end papers front and back otherwise immaculate and bright, unbroken, not cracked. Unpaginated, with publisher's ad at back with 14 Raggedy Ann stories listed beginning with "Marcella" and ending with "Camel with the Wrinkled Knees", titles to 1932 in original Volland editions. Interior pages as new, binding tight. DJ bright and clean, light wear alkong rear flap fold, 1 1/4 x 1/4 inch triangular chip upper right hand front corner of front panel. Top and bottom of spine, and tips, with 1/8" chipping, and with a few miniscule tears.
