This is number # 196 of 250 - one of the 180 "Exemplaires contenant les eaux-fortes avec la lettre". There is no sign of a letter with this copy - but no other copies online seem to have letters. First edition Thus. Softback. Olive green integral paper covers. The binding is split and rubbed to the spine with some repair. One of the flaps is detached but present. A little nicking and edge wear to the wrapper. End papers are darkened, but the rest of the book is in very nice condition. One gather is loose, but holding by a thread! Embellished with gold illustrations to the head of each page. 19 full watercolour plates and 37 gold woodcuts plus 12 cul-de-lamps. 206, [1] leaf of advert. 300 x 220 mm (11¾ x 8¾ inches). Aquarelles et gravures sur bois de Paul Guignebault. De la « Collection Éclectique ». Il s'agit du numéro 196 sur 250 - l'un des 180 « Exemplaires contenant les eaux-fortes avec la lettre ». Il n'y a aucun signe d'une lettre avec cette copie - mais aucune autre copie en ligne ne semble avoir de lettres. Première édition Ainsi. Couverture souple. Couvertures intégrales en papier vert olive. La reliure est fendue et frottée au dos avec quelques réparations. L'un des rabats est détaché mais présent. Une petite entaille et une usure des bords sur l'emballage. Les pages de garde sont noircies, mais le reste du livre est en très bon état. Une fronce est lâche, mais tient par un fil ! Orné d'illustrations dorées en tête de chaque page. 19 planches pleines d'aquarelles et 37 gravures sur bois dorées plus 12 culs-de-lampe. 206, [1] feuillet d'annonce. 300 x 220 mm (11¾ x 8¾ pouces).
