Written by David Storey the English playwriter, screenwriter, award-winning novelist, and rugby player. He won the Booker Prize in 1976 for his novel Saville. He also won the MacMillan Fiction Award for The Sporting Life in 1960. In the original publisher's cloth in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart.
