About This Item
1651 Fulvio Testi Italian Baroque Poetry Cesare d'Este Modena Italy Poesie 4in1
Fulvio Testi was a 17th-century Italian poet known for being one of the most prolific figures in Italian Baroque literature. He published numerous lyric poems of which most of them were dedicated to Cesare d'Este. Testi, who was exiled from Modena, was eventually pardoned by d'Este, and as gratitude, Testi mentioned him in the title of his works. This rare edition of Testi's "Poesie" was published in Modena and contains all four published parts of Testi's poems.
