About This Item

Rabbit Redux is a novel by John Updike, first published in 1971. It is the second novel in Updike's Rabbit tetralogy, following Rabbit, Run (1960) and preceding Rabbit Is Rich (1981) and Rabbit at Rest (1990). The novel follows the life of Harry "Rabbit" Angstrom, a former high school basketball star who is now struggling to cope with the challenges of middle age. The novel explores themes of alienation, loss, and redemption, and it is considered to be one of Updike's most important works.
