London: Frederick Warne and Co.,, 1890. Hardcover Hardcover. Very Good. Large square octavo. Original green cloth with gilt titles and beautifully illustrated in black, brown and silver. Covers with very light surface rubbing and slight rubbing to bevelled edges and spine ends, otherwise very good indeed. Gift inscription to verso of front endpaper but otherwise clean and bright. Presumed first edition, c.1890s. Contains: John Gilpin, The House that Jack Built, Elegy on the Death of a Mad Dog, Babes in the Wood, Three Jovial Huntsmen, Sing a Song for Sixpence, Queen of Hearts and the Farmer s Boy.
