New York: D. Appleton & Company, 1852. Scarce. 323 pages in very good condition. Light foxing on some of the pages. Twenty seven plates. Book plate on ffep. Date on title page is erroneously printed as M.DCC.LII. All edges gilt. Green leather with elaborate gilt decorations and titles on spine and both boards. Embossed design on both boards. Five raised bands on spine, which is scuffed and faded. Corners are worn and bumped. Boards and edges show some wear. Stain on upper board. Binding is good and tight. VG. Full-Leather. VG. 7 1/2 x 10 1/2.
