george allen & unwin london 1959 VG/VG 3rd impression dj is crushed to ends over the spine, but no loss or damage. not price-clipped. dj has protected the boards beneath well, which are bright blue, sharp-cornered and with clear gilt titling to spine.Internally, there are no inscriptions or marginalia. all tightly bound in and bright. Octavo. 670pp illustrated with fold-out family tree diagrams. Extensive work of research on Queen Mary including her coronation photographs. Prepared with access to the Queen's personal archives.
