About This Item
A collection of poetry dedicated to the city of Toronto by Canadian poet Raymond Souster, accompanied by photographs of the city by Bill Brooks. Souster was a lifelong resident of Toronto and known as its "most loved poet." This edition is in Fine condition, with the dust jacket in Good condition, with worn corners and some creases and small tears. This particular copy is of particular interest as it appears to be one of the rare first states of the first edition, with the line "SUMMER'S FLOOD" at the end of the poem "Misty Morning, Ashbridge's Bay," which was eliminated in subsequent printings.
